Canzone della Settimana: Witches

C'mon, ovvero codificare una intera carriera fatta di 9 album e diversi Ep per la band di Duluth, Minnesota, i Low.

Disco che ha il sapore della tenacia, della sopravvivenza di sentimenti fragili portati al riparo per anni e racchiusi umilmente in canzoni tiepide e rassicuranti, ma mai arrendevoli, Witches ne è l'esempio più esplicito.
Pezzo tradizionalmente rock, la vecchia ed essenziale ricetta che qui accenna semplicemente a quanto sia ancora ineguagliabile in fierezza e testardaggine, con un testo che però ha una punta d'amarezza, un desiderio tradito da una persona, lo stesso desiderio che si può ritrovare nel titolo del disco: C'mon, Let's stay together.
